Hey Hackers! I’m Jimmy Braimah and I’m the CEO @ Goodtalent.
First of all, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the HackerNoon community for recognizing us as the winner of:
Startup of the Year 2021: Best Start-up in Lagos, Nigeria (2021)
HackerNoon Reporter: What does it mean for you to win this title?
For us, this is really awesome. We are thrilled! This shows strong validation from our ecosystem for what we are building at Goodtalent.io
How do you or your company intend to embrace the responsibility of this title in 2022?
Well, to whom what is given, much is expected right? We will continue to lead from the front, amplifying everything we have done right and ensuring we do more for our superb team and our broader ecosystem
What are some of the goals you’re looking forward to accomplishing in 2022 (whether it be through company initiatives or your personal journey)?
2022 will be a very interesting year for Goodtalent. We are democratizing the way companies hire, screen, and pay software engineers globally. We intend to work with quite a number of partners, educate our clients and make it easier and faster for companies to hire the hottest skills on the planet today - engineers!
What is something special about you or your company that you’ve rarely had the chance to properly share but really wanted to? (Give this one a proper think, I’ll know if you didn’t!)
Hmmm… Well, we are building a company that will be at the forefront of hiring engineers within 1-2 years. We are giving companies a choice to be flexible on their hiring strategy. We all know how startups are losing the “war for engineering talents”, as a result, we are providing the right tools to make it easier for startups with smaller budgets to compete effectively against the larger companies
What song or music album are you currently enjoying?
Chronic 2001 by DR Dre. They don’t make rap like this anymore.
Is there anything else you’d like me to know? It can be anything.
From all of us at Goodtalent, we want to say thank you to Hackernoon for this.
